Contest Closed: Congratulations Susan Varney!

Book Review

Its a nice compilation of a broad range of heroes that would be great for children (maybe 3rd to 5th grade) to read.  The book covers each hero in less than 2 pages – perfect for 8 to 12 year old. Heroes For My Son includes Team Hoyt,  Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, Dr. Seuss, George H.W. Bush, Mahatama Gandhi, Rosa Parks, Harper Lee, Martin Luther King Jr. and many more.

Not all of Brad’s heroes are my heroes. Some are big names and may be controversial but not necessarily my heroes. However it still does not take anything away from this nicely compiled book. I would recommend it for children (and not necessarily for grown ups).
